News and Notes from the Hobby, Where's Bubba and Ian Kinsler Gets Paid

2012 Topps Museum Collection hit the hobby with a bang and is showing no signs of slowing down. Containing some of the best patches that can be found in recent releases, hobbyists continue to buy up the reportedly under produced product that is still commanding $200+ a box.

Cardboard Connection's Ryan Cracknell looks at some of the strong secondary market sales of Museum Collection autographed patch cards HERE.

Here is one that we pulled last weekend from SMP in Grapevine.

Mr. Cracknell also gave collectors a visual gallery of the Museum Collection Canvas Collection sketch cards numberd to 10. Take a look HERE.

We were fortunate enough to pull one out of the same pack as the Zimmerman pictured above.

National Treasures also released recently and like Museum Collection, cards are selling well on the secondary market. Here's a look at two cards we recently pulled, one obviously more eye appealing than the other.

Be sure to check out all our recent eBay listings HERE.

Bubba Watson won the Masters and collectors looking to find autographed cards of the golf star can turn to Upper Deck. Collectors can find Mr. Watson in the Upper Deck product 2012 SP Authentic Golf.

In baseball news, the Texas Rangers and Ian Kinsler reached an agreement on a $75,000,000.00 contract extension that will keep the second baseman under team control through 2017, with a club option for 2018. You can read more and watch the news conference HERE.
